    Basic Life Support

    • Annual renewal of skills necessary to work as GP
    • Practices hold these at least once a year
    • Locums & salaried GPs can ask to be included in Practice training events

    • LMC BLS sessions

      Free for all salaried GPs in Wessex and locum members of LMC; £25 for Wessex locums who aren’t members

    • LMC combined BLS & adult safeguarding event

      5 times a year in various locations
      Free for all salaried GPs in Wessex and locum members of LMC; £30 for Wessex locums who aren’t members

      Upcoming Dates: 7/12/16, 15/2/17, 26/4/17, 21/6/17

    • Adult Safeguarding

    • Annual updates required – online learning or face-to-face course

     

    • Online via e-lfh.org.uk

      Free for all clinicians – provided by Health Education England. You can sign up using your GMC number

    • Updates required annually
    • Recommended to attend one face-to-face course (as opposed to online module) at least once every 3 years
